I went the the Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, UT, a couple weeks ago. I saw KING LEAR, THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, and HENRY IV part II. They were awesome and got me all excited about Shakespeare again.
Then I was reminded of the new MACBETH movie coming out December 4th. Freak, it looks awesome. You need to watch this trailer.
I want to re-read MACBETH before the release, so I went looking for a nice ebook to put on my phone. Unfortunately, every single edition on Amazon had a sucky cover, whether free or not. So I made my own ebook. Here’s the cover.
It’s available for purchase here (for $3.89): http://macbeth.jwashburn.com
(If you want a free copy, send me a link to your Amazon review of SONG OF LOCKE, and I’ll send you MACBETH.)
I made an awesome map for MACBETH too (it’s in the ebook).
In the next couple days, I’ll post about these:
- Is Macbeth a True Story? [part 2]
- What Is Shakespeare’s Macbeth About? [part 3]
- Who Is Macbeth in Disney’s Gargoyles? [part 4]
- An Analysis of the Language of Macbeth [part 5]
